Guarantee Policy

There is a credit card required to secure a reservation. If you use a debit/credit card to check-in, a hold may be placed on your card account for the full anticipated amount to be owed to the hotel, including estimated incidentals, through your date of check-out and such hold may not be released for 48 hours from the date of check-out or longer at the discretion of your card issuer.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Should you need to cancel your reservation, please do so before (2) two days prior to arrival to avoid cancellation fees. Cancellation of reservations for which payment was guaranteed or for which a deposit has been sent must reach the hotel by the local hotel hold time on the cancellation date indicated to avoid your credit card being charged or the forfeiture of your deposit. Cancellation numbers are issued at the time of cancellation provided the reservation is cancelled by the date and time specified in your e-mail confirmation details. Please make a note of the cancellation number for your records in the event of questions regarding cancellation of guaranteed reservations. Any changes to the arrival date, departure date, or room type of this reservation is subject to the hotel's availability at the time the change is requested and may result in a possible rate change and/or service fee.

Housekeeping Services

Please let an associate at the Front Desk know if you would like daily housekeeping during your stay, as this service is only offered upon request.

pet policy

The Memphian is delighted that you are visiting with us and that you have chosen to bring your pet. Please note there is a limit of one (1) dog per registered room that should not exceed our 25-pound weight limit; no other animals are permitted. A $100.00 non-refundable pet fee (per room) will be assessed during your stay.

To ensure a comfortable visit for you, your pet and our other guests, we ask that you follow several guidelines: Please register your pet prior to checking into your room. Housekeeping services should be scheduled prior to your arrival, at times when a member of your party can be present. If that is not possible, please make arrangements so that your pet is not in the room during the service times you have scheduled. As you enter and leave the hotel, your pet is to be transported in a portable kennel. Health department regulations require that your pet not remain in public areas of the hotel at any time; this includes all of our dining areas. To ensure that other guests of the hotel are not inconvenienced by noise, please make every effort to keep your pet quiet at all times. In the event that our staff is asked to contact you more than once as the result of your pet making noise, we will assist you in making arrangements for your pet to stay at an off-site boarding facility for the remainder of your visit. The hotel, parent company, agents, and staff will not be responsible for any liability involving your pet with respect to property damages, injuries, or any other incident.

smoking policy

We are 100% committed to providing a smoke-free environment, therefore smoking is strictly prohibited in all of The Memphian’s guest rooms and public spaces. Smokers are permitted to do so in designated outdoor areas. This policy is strictly enforced, and a $250 fee will be applied in the event of violation to cover the extensive cost of restoring guest rooms and public spaces to their smoke-free condition.

check-in / check-out policy

Rates quoted are based on check-in date and length of stay shown. Should you depart early prior to the departure date confirmed for any reason, The Memphian may impose an early departure fee.

Rate Rules & Restrictions

Rates confirmed are for the number of occupants listed in your e-mail confirmation, per room, per night and do not include additional charges for roll-away beds (King Rooms only) or extra people, and will apply only to rooms booked as part of this reservation. We reserve the right to cancel or modify reservations where it appears that a customer has engaged in fraudulent or inappropriate activity or under other circumstances where it appears that the reservations contain or resulted from.

Parking Policy

Parking for hotel guests is available in the surface lot adjacent to the hotel for $15/Night. (Due to limited space, this lot is for overnight hotel guests only.) Restaurant and visitor parking is available in the Overton Square Garage, located directly behind the hotel. This is complimentary during the day and $5 from 6 PM to 4 AM. *We're pleased to offer two electric car charging stations!
